What it is

The UFO FORK CVR YZF450 23- BK, fork guards. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Bolts to the axle lugs on the KYB SSS fork, so it indexes off OEM hardware and clears the brake line and calliper without trimming. Covers the lower stanchion through the stroke, taking the hits from stones, roost and ruts that would otherwise pit the chrome and chew the seal. Sized for the 23-on YZ 250 F, 250 FX, 450 F and 450 FX front end. Reuse the original bolts. Pull the old ones once the plastic goes brittle or the mount holes start to oval — a fresh set is cheaper than a fork seal and a re-chrome.
