What it is

The UFO FORK SLIDER PROTECTORS, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Two-piece plastic shield clamping onto the lower fork sliders, covering the leading edge from spray, stones and roost off the front wheel. Common Husqvarna fitment across the FC/FE four-stroke range and the TC/TE/TX two-stroke range, 125 through 501. Bolts to the OEM mounting bosses on the slider casting, with cut-outs for the brake line guide and ABS sensor wire on the FE and TE models. Cheap insurance against a chipped slider that wrecks a fork seal on the next ride. Swap them when the leading edge goes white and brittle. Thread-lock the bolts.
