Black plastic shields that clamp to the lower fork legs and take the stone-chip hits before they reach your stanchions. A pitted slider tears a fork seal inside one session, and a leaking seal means stripping the front end. Cheaper to swap a tenner of plastic. Fits the KX 125 and KX 250 two-stroke chassis plus the KX 250F four-stroke, all on 47/48mm Kayaba forks. Uses the factory mounting points on the fork lugs, so no drilling. Bin them when the leading edge goes brittle or you can feel grooves cut through the face.
