Bolt-on lower-leg guards for the WP 43mm forks fitted to the 85SX, XC 85 and the 105 big-wheels. Their job is simple: keep stones, roost and the odd flying nut off the chrome stanchion below the seal. One gouge on that surface and the seal cuts on every stroke, so the fork starts weeping fluid by the next moto. These mount to the factory bosses on the lower legs using the original hardware, so it is a five-minute job per side. Swap them when the plastic goes chalky or splits at the mount tab.
