§ 02 / About this part
What it is
The UFO FORK SLIDER PROTECTORS KTM SX/SX-F BLACK, fork guards. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Lower-leg covers for the WP 48mm forks fitted to KTM SX, SX-F, EXC and EXC-F models. They shield the slider tubes from stone strikes and roost off the front wheel, the impacts that chew gouges into bare magnesium and eventually wreck a seal. Clip on at the existing OEM mounting points, no hardware swap needed. Treat them as a service item. Once the plastic goes brittle or a deep crack opens up, mud and grit work their way past and your next fork-seal job comes early. Cheap insurance for an enduro loop or a sandy MX track.
