What it is
The UFO FORK SLIDER PROTECTORS KTM SX/SX-F/EXC ORANGE, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Bolts to the lower fork legs and takes the hits your stanchions shouldn't. One stone strike on a bare slider pits the chrome, and a pitted slider eats fork seals on the next stroke. Covers the SX and SX-F four-strokes, the EXC enduro range, and the 125/144/150/250 two-strokes back through the WP 48mm AER and earlier Open Cartridge era. Mounts to the OEM brake-line tabs with no modification. Swap them when the plastic goes chalky or you can see deep gouges through to the inner face. Cheap insurance against a fork rebuild.
