The UFO FORK SLIDER PROTECTORS YAMAHA YZ/YZF WHITE, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Fork sliders live two inches above the dirt. A flicked stone or a clipped berm puts a nick in the chrome, and that nick will saw through your fork seals within a handful of rides. These guards wrap the lower leg from the axle clamp upwards, taking the hit so the stanchion stays clean. Bolts to OEM mounting points on the WR250F, WR450F, YZ125, YZ250, YZ250F, YZ450F and YZ450F SP. Fitment is bike-specific, so the curve hugs the lug. Swap them when the face goes chalky or splits at the bolt boss. Cheaper than a fork rebuild.
