What it is

The UFO FRONT DISC COVER KIT YAMAHA YZ250/450F BLACK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A moulded front disc cover for the YZ 250 F, 250 FX, 450 F and 450 FX. The black finish keeps the rotor and caliper clear of roost and stray rocks on stony MX tracks and through hard enduro. It bolts on at the front axle with the supplied model-specific bracket, so pull the axle to seat the spacer before you torque it back up. Check your axle diameter matches the fork lug for a flush fit. Mud packed on the brake circuit chews pads and runs the disc hot. This keeps it shedding.
