What it is
The UFO REAR SHOCK MUD PLATE KTM 2/4-STROKE BLACK, plastics & bodywork. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Positioned between the rear tyre and the shock, this plate keeps mud away from the rod and seals. Both linkage and PDS systems rely on this barrier to prevent premature suspension failure. The plastic eventually fatigues and snaps at the flex points or mounting tabs. It swaps directly with the factory part using existing hardware. Keeping this intact is the simplest way to avoid expensive shock servicing. Ideal for hard enduro where debris contact is constant and the rear end takes a beating.
