This slider protects the swingarm from chain friction at the pivot point. It is a high-wear item that sits directly behind the countershaft sprocket. The plastic material is designed to sacrifice itself to save the aluminium swingarm. This fitment covers a wide range of modern race bikes. Inspect the wear grooves during every wash. If the chain is close to the metal, replace the slider immediately. It mounts securely using the OEM bolt holes for a straightforward installation.
