This needle bearing resides in the small end of the connecting rod. It provides the low-friction interface for your piston pin. Constant heat and high RPM eventually fatigue the cage and rollers. You should replace this bearing during every top-end service interval. It is a direct swap for OEM part 51030034000. Check your rod for any scoring before fitting the new bearing. Always use a dedicated assembly lube or fresh engine oil during the build. Proper fitment ensures your top-end remains quiet and reliable under race conditions.
