High-performance Kevlar friction plates provide a more aggressive bite and better heat dissipation than stock plates. They are located inside the clutch hub and are responsible for transferring power from the engine to the gearbox. Over time, friction material wears down or becomes glazed from overheating. This results in power loss and a spongy lever. These Kevlar plates are built to withstand the rigours of racing. Sold as single units, they allow for precise clutch pack rebuilding. Always verify your stack height and soak the plates in the correct oil before reassembling the clutch.
