What it is

Heidenau's 18E cross tube is built for the back wheel of full-size enduro and cross machines. The heavier carcass shrugs off the heat that thin tubes pinch and split under. The 34G angled valve sits clean against the rim so you can get a gauge on it without skinning a knuckle. Fit it at every tyre change. Swap it sooner if you spot chafe marks from the carcass or a tired rim lock. Dust the inside of the tyre with talc before you mount up. Torque your rim lock properly or the tube walks and tears the valve clean off.
