The MOTION PRO RIM LOCK DAMPER, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Run low pressures and the rim lock takes a pounding every lap. That's the damper's job. The rubber pad sits between the lock block and the rim, soaks the hits, and keeps the lock from chewing your alloy. Let it compress out and the block walks, then your rim starts collecting dents you can't unbend. Swap it when you change a tyre. Motion Pro 02200023 fits the usual Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha rim lock pattern across KX 250, RM 125, YZ 125 through YZ 450 F and the WR 450 F. Cheap insurance against a bent hoop.
