The POLISPORT BOTTOM FORK PROTECTOR BLACK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Bolts to the axle lugs at the base of each fork leg, shielding the magnesium or aluminium castings from rock strikes, root impacts and chain-spit grit. The hard-anodised slider face on a modern WP XPLOR, WP Xact or Kayaba SSS is what you're really protecting — gouge that and the bushings chew themselves apart inside a season. Two-piece moulded plastic, clamps over the existing lug with the OE bolt. Fits the broad GAS GAS, Husqvarna, KTM and Sherco 2T and 4T enduro range from EXC 125 through 500, plus the TPI and TBI fuel-injected models. Cheap insurance on rocky enduro loops and Welsh hare-and-hounds.
