What it is

The RENTHAL RENTHAL TWINWALL 997 GRN, handlebars. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

These bars use a tube-within-a-tube design for maximum strength. The outer tube resists external damage while the inner tube provides structural integrity. This 997 bend is a standard for many MX riders. You will need 28.6mm clamps to fit these to your bike. Replace them if you notice any hairline cracks near the controls or after a heavy landing that tweaks the alignment. The anodised finish prevents corrosion in wet UK conditions. Ensure you torque the clamp bolts to OEM specifications to avoid crushing the outer tube.
