What it is

The UFO FORK SLIDER PROTECTORS WHITE, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

White plastic shells that bolt to the lower fork sliders on Honda's CRF 250 and 450 R, RX, RL, R-S, RWE, plus the air-cooled CRF 250 F trail bike. They take roost, rock strikes and the odd low-side scuff before it pits the anodised slider underneath. A pitted slider chews fork seals on the next stroke, then weeps oil down the leg. Mounting uses the OEM brake-line clamp bolts on the front of the lug, so the brake hose routing stays factory. Fit them as a pair during any plastics refresh and run thread lock on the bolts.
