Redline Motorcycles

Three decades of KTM in Loughborough. The dealership has gone — the bikes it sold are still being ridden across Leicestershire and the East Midlands. We ship the parts that keep them moving.

What happened

Redline Motorcycles Has Closed

Redline Motorcycles stopped trading in 2025. After more than thirty years on Prince William Way, the Loughborough showroom went dark, the phone went unanswered, and the company passed into liquidation. For a town that had a KTM dealer on its doorstep since the early 1990s, that left a gap.

Landed here from the old redlinemc.co.uk address? That is exactly why this page exists. The dealership has gone. Your bike has not. The parts that keep it running are still made and still stocked — they now arrive in a courier box rather than across the counter at Prince William Way.

Iron Offroad is an independent online KTM and off-road parts shop. No showroom in Loughborough, no service bays — we will not dress it up otherwise. What we do is narrower: get hard parts to riders across the East Midlands, usually inside two or three working days.

For the record. Iron Offroad is not affiliated with, and is not a continuation of, the former Redline Motorcycles business. We are a separate, independent retailer with no connection to the closed company. We took on the old web address for one reason — so riders searching for the dealership reach a working source of parts instead of a dead link. Deposit, order, warranty and service-plan queries are matters for the liquidator (see below), not for us.

For the record

The Redline Motorcycles Dealership

Tim Walker opened Redline Motorcycles in Loughborough in 1989 and took KTM on in 1991. That made Redline one of the longest-running KTM dealerships in the country — more than three decades selling, servicing and supporting the marque from a single Leicestershire site, an easy run for riders across Nottingham, Derby and Leicester.

KTM was always the core. It was never the whole floor. GASGAS came on, then Beta — enduro and trials both — then Fantic and CFMOTO, with Honda and Yamaha alongside. A proper multi-franchise shop: sales, a workshop, a parts counter and a clothing wall under one roof on a 01509 number. Walker ran it for over thirty years before selling to former employee Nathan Preston in late 2022.

Ceased trading 2025. Redline Motorcycles Ltd (company number 04972040) entered creditors’ voluntary liquidation that year. These details are published as a historical record of the former business — the phone line and showroom no longer reach a trading dealership.

What did not change is the bike in the garage. Genuine parts and the deep aftermarket catalogue — Akrapovic, Renthal, Pro Circuit, Galfer, Wiseco, Wössner — are still made, still stocked. The only real difference is how you get them: ordered online, brought by courier, instead of collected from the counter on Prince William Way.

The marques on the floor

The Franchises Redline Carried

Redline ran more marques than most independents dared to. Bought, serviced or rode one of these out of Loughborough? The parts side is still covered here — pick your make and drill down to the year and model.

KTM

The core of the business for thirty years. The full line passed through Prince William Way, but the heart of it was always orange enduro and motocross iron — the EXC 300, the 350 EXC-F, the 250 SX. We stock fitment-checked parts for the lot.

GASGAS

The orange-family enduro and motocross marque — the EC 300 and the MC range. Parts, plastics and service kit, all fitment-matched.

Beta

Redline ran both Beta worlds at once — the RR enduro line and the EVO trials bikes. Two very different disciplines, one factory. We carry parts across the lot.

Fantic

The reborn marque Redline took on as it grew — XEF and XMF four-strokes and the rest. Newer to the UK, fully covered here on parts.

CFMOTO, Honda and Yamaha rounded out the floor over the years. For Honda and Yamaha hard parts, start from the category index or ask us for a part-number cross-reference.

How we help

Parts for East Midlands Riders

Iron Offroad stocks tens of thousands of off-road hard parts and consumables — genuine where it counts, quality aftermarket where it makes more sense. Every part carries fitment data, so you know it suits your year and model before it goes near the basket.

Fast UK delivery

Most in-stock orders leave the same or next working day on a tracked courier. For a rider in Loughborough or out across the East Midlands, that is the part on the doorstep inside two or three days. Free UK delivery over our threshold; below it ships tracked.

Service items and consumables

The unglamorous kit that keeps an enduro or MX bike through its service intervals — air filters, oil filters, brake pads, chain and sprocket sets, fork seals, spark plugs, coolant, fork oil. The stuff that wears out and gets binned every season. Search the full category index or hit the relevant model page directly.

Real people on a real phone line

When a part number needs cross-referencing, or you are not sure a 2019 listing fits a 2022 frame, drop us a line. The contact form reaches people who ride and wrench on these bikes — not a call-centre script.

The catalogue

What We Stock for Redline’s Riders

Day-to-day service kit or a winter rebuild — the parts side is covered. A few of the places to start:

Engine and drivetrain

Top-end kits from Wiseco and Wössner, clutch baskets and plates, chains and sprockets from Renthal and DID, gaskets, oil seals and cam chains.

Suspension

Fork seals and dust seals (the forks on a hard-used enduro bike punish neglect), fork springs, shock springs, linkage bearings and fork oil. Workshop jobs that used to be a Prince William Way booking are increasingly DIY — the parts side is covered here.

Brakes and controls

Galfer and EBC brake pads, discs, braided lines and master cylinders. Renthal bars, grips, levers, throttle assemblies and clutch perches.

Plastics, bodywork and graphics

Polisport, Cycra and UFO plastics for every recent KTM, GASGAS, Beta and Fantic dirt platform. Front fenders, side panels, radiator shrouds, fork guards and number plates. A tired bike re-skinned in an afternoon.

Find what actually fits

Quickest route to the right part is via the model. Start at KTM, GASGAS, Beta or Fantic, then drill down to the year and platform.

What they were known for

An Enduro Dealership At Heart

KTM EXC Six Days enduro — the kind of bike Redline Motorcycles championed
KTM EXC Six Days — marketing image from the former redlinemc.co.uk site, reproduced as historical record.

Plenty of dealers sell KTMs. Redline rode them. The shop’s reputation in the East Midlands was built on enduro — the EXC range first, the Six Days specials when they landed, and the green-lane and competition crowd that came with them. The kind of place where the parts desk had ridden the bike you were asking about.

That focus is why this page leans the way it does. The bikes Redline sold are still out on the trails and start lines around Charnwood, the Peak District and beyond. Own one? The service parts are the same as ever — brake pads, chain and sprocket sets, fork seals, air filters, plastics if you went down. Start at the EXC parts pages and work from your year.

Across the patch

Areas We Serve

We ship parts to riders across the same East Midlands patch Redline served from Loughborough — a stretch now without a long-standing KTM dealer on its doorstep:

Leicestershire: Loughborough, Leicester, Shepshed, Coalville, Melton Mowbray, Hinckley, Market Harborough, Charnwood.
Nottinghamshire: Nottingham, West Bridgford, Arnold, Mansfield, Newark.
Derbyshire: Derby, Ilkeston, Long Eaton, Ashby, the Peak District fringe.
Beyond: Warwickshire, Staffordshire, Lincolnshire and the rest of the UK — every postcode covered.

Wherever the bike lives, the parts side works the same way: pick what fits, check the year, courier does the rest. No trip to Prince William Way required. There no longer is one.

If you rode with Redline

For Former Redline Customers

A dealership closing is not just a shop closing. It is the staff who knew your bike on sight, and the easy certainty that parts and a sensible second opinion sat a short ride away. An online parts shop is not a replacement for that, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

Deposits, orders, warranties and service plans. Iron Offroad has no connection to the former Redline Motorcycles business and cannot access its records or honour its contracts. Redline Motorcycles Ltd (company number 04972040) entered creditors’ voluntary liquidation in 2025; those matters are handled by the liquidator, Richard Goodwin of Butcher Woods (contact Jon Cole on 0121 236 6001). They are the right first call.

What we can keep simple is the practical side. If Redline serviced your bike, every service item and consumable they used to hand over the counter is still available here, shipped wherever you are. Got a part number that needs cross-referencing? Drop us a line. Ride proper miles through the season and an Iron Offroad account unlocks the signed-in price on every order — free, no subscription, no membership card.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Redline Motorcycles still open?

No. Redline Motorcycles Ltd stopped trading in 2025 — the Prince William Way premises is no longer a working dealership, and the 01509 230 001 line no longer reaches a trading business. The company went into liquidation that year. Iron Offroad is a separate, independent online parts shop; we took on the old web address so riders searching for the closed dealership reach a working source of parts instead of a dead link.

I paid a deposit, had a bike on order, or held a service plan with Redline — what do I do?

Those matters are handled by the appointed liquidator, not by us. Redline Motorcycles Ltd (company number 04972040) entered creditors’ voluntary liquidation in 2025; the liquidator is Richard Goodwin of Butcher Woods (contact Jon Cole on 0121 236 6001). Iron Offroad has no connection to the former business and cannot access its records, refund deposits, or honour orders or service plans — the liquidator is the correct first call.

Where do I get my KTM, GASGAS or Beta serviced near Loughborough now?

For franchised servicing the nearest options sit across Leicester, Nottingham and Derby, depending on marque and model year. The service-interval jobs in between — brake pads, chains and sprockets, fork seals, air filters — plenty of East Midlands riders now do themselves, parts shipped to the door. That is the gap Iron Offroad fills.

Do you sell whole bikes?

No. We are not a successor dealership and we are not connected to the former Redline Motorcycles business. Iron Offroad sells hard parts and consumables for KTM, GASGAS, Beta, Fantic, Husqvarna and the wider MX / enduro / trail catalogue. New bikes go through each marque’s remaining UK dealer network; we do not touch that side.

Was Redline really a KTM dealer for that long?

Yes. Tim Walker opened Redline in Loughborough in 1989 and took KTM on in 1991. That put it among the longest-running KTM dealerships in the country — more than thirty years on the marque. GASGAS, Beta, Fantic, CFMOTO, Honda and Yamaha came on board over the years, but KTM stayed the core. Walker sold the dealership to former employee Nathan Preston in late 2022.

Will you deliver to Leicestershire and the East Midlands?

Yes — every LE, NG, DE and the surrounding postcodes, and the rest of the UK. Delivery is free over our threshold; below it ships tracked. Most in-stock orders leave the same or next working day, so the part is usually on the doorstep in two or three days.
