Buying parts

Will this part fit my bike?
Use the make/model lookup at the top of the site. Fitment data comes from Parts Europe ApplicationLists, the same lists manufacturers ship to dealers. Each product page lists the bikes the part fits by year. If your bike is on the list, the part fits. If you're unsure, open a ticket with the make, model, and year before you order.
OEM, aftermarket, or replacement — what's the difference?
OEM is the part that came on the bike from factory. Aftermarket is built to fit the same bike, often by the original tier-one supplier (Athena, ProX, and Wiseco supply OEM lines too). Replacement is a generic-fit equivalent. Each product page lists what it is and, where we have it, the OEM cross-reference number. Race teams mix all three depending on the job.
Why use OEM cross-reference numbers?
They're the only way to be certain a part is right for an obscure year-model. Manufacturers reuse OEM part numbers across model years far more often than they reuse model names. If your owner manual or workshop manual lists a part number, search that. It cuts through marketing names and gets you the exact part.
Is the part in stock?
Stock status is live on each product page. In-stock items ship within 3 working days. Back-order items show a realistic lead time, typically 5–10 working days from Parts Europe. We don't promise stock we don't hold.
Do prices change when I sign in?
Yes. Anonymous visitors see public pricing. Signed-in riders get a flat discount across the catalogue — no tier, no membership, no subscription. The cart and checkout recompute the discount server-side from your account, so a refresh-and-checkout reads the right number.

Fitting

Do you fit parts for me?
No. We're a parts shop. Fitting is workshop work: your local dealer, race shop, or the bench in your garage. Most parts on the site are designed for owner installation if you've got the right tools and a workshop manual.
How do I work out chain length and sprocket size?
Check your owner manual first. It lists OE chain pitch (520, 428, etc), link count, and front/rear sprocket teeth. Changing gearing changes link count: +1 rear tooth ≈ no change, +2 rear ≈ +1 link, -1 front ≈ +2 links. New chain on new sprockets every time. A worn sprocket eats a new chain in a weekend.
What torque do sprocket bolts need?
Check the workshop manual. It varies by bike. Typical figures: rear sprocket bolts 30–50 Nm with thread-lock; front sprocket nut 60–90 Nm. Always use a torque wrench, never the long-bar method. Loose sprocket bolts strand more dirt bikes than most riders expect.
Which way round do fork seals go?
Garter spring faces down, lip faces up toward the oil. Get this backwards and the seal weeps within an hour. Use a fork seal driver, not a screwdriver and a hammer; you'll bruise the stanchion and the seal will leak anyway. Replace the dust seal at the same time. Fresh fork oil to spec while you're in there.
Common rebuild pitfalls?
Reusing one-time-use gaskets and seals. Skipping the torque-spec check on head bolts (always do a final torque sequence cold). Forgetting to grease linkage and steering bearings on reassembly. Running the engine with old fork oil because the forks "feel fine". They're not fine. The oil is six months past spec.

When will I get tracking?
Order confirmation email goes out immediately. Dispatch email with tracking arrives when the courier collects. In-stock items ship within 3 working days. Back-ordered items show a realistic dispatch window on the product page before you order.
How do you ship heavy items — shocks, full plastics kits, exhausts?
Heavy and bulky items go on a dedicated courier service rather than standard parcel rate. Shocks ship in original packaging inside an outer carton. Full plastics kits go flat-packed with corner protection. Exhaust systems ride in foam-lined cartons. Couriers are rough; we pack to survive that, not just to clear the dispatch table. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout from weight and dimensions.
Do you ship abroad?
Yes. EU and rest-of-world rates are calculated at checkout. Heavy items (shocks, exhausts, full plastics kits) carry a freight surcharge to anywhere outside the UK. Local duty and tax applies on arrival in the destination country.
Can I return a part I've fitted?
No. Once a part has been installed (fitted to the bike, threadlocked, oiled, run on the engine) we can't resell it. Check the part against your fitment and your old part before you start work. The full policy is on the returns page.
What if it arrives damaged?
Photograph the parcel before opening it if anything looks crushed. Open carefully. If a part has transit damage (broken plastics, dented exhaust, leaking shock), photograph it before going further and open a ticket the same day. We arrange collection and either replace or refund.
