What it is
The BARNETT CLUTCH STEEL DRIVE PLATE EACH, clutch. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
This is an internal steel drive plate for your clutch pack. Steel plates provide the necessary friction surface for the fibre plates to grab. Check your existing plates for heat discolouration or warping on a flat glass surface. Replace them if they show signs of bluing or if the clutch is dragging. These are sold individually to allow for partial replacement or full pack refreshes. Match these with new friction plates and springs for a complete service. Fresh steel plates ensure consistent clutch feel and engagement.
