Heidenau build this one heavy. The carcass is thicker than a standard road tube, so it shrugs off pinch hits when you case a double or land flat off a step-down. The 34G angled valve clears most rear rim profiles on enduro and MX bikes without fouling the disc carrier. Fit it with a rim lock, talc the carcass, and check the bead seat before you air up. Run your usual rear pressure for the terrain — softer for rocks and roots, firmer for hardpack and braking bumps. Carry a spare in your bumbag for enduro days; punctures happen miles from the van.
