Heidenau builds this one for the back end of a mid-capacity MX bike running a 100 or 110-section rear. The D-section profile sits flush against the carcass, so it tracks the tyre instead of bunching up when you load the rim hard out of a rut. Heavy-duty rubber takes the hits from braking bumps and bad landings without pinching. The 34G angled valve clears most alloy rim wells without fouling the stem against the disc side. Fit it with a fresh rim band, a smear of soap on the bead, and check the valve sits square before you torque the nut.
