Stock fork springs are pitched for an average rider on an average day. You are neither. Swap in the 4.5 N/mm Ohlins set, 43.6mm OD by 467mm, and the front end starts behaving like it belongs to you. Heavier riders stop blowing through the stroke into hard parts. Lighter riders quit riding high and harsh. Rebound stays predictable through braking bumps, the front holds its line into ruts, and big landings load through the spring instead of bouncing off it. Fits the listed CRF and EC platforms. Set static sag, then race sag, then ride.
