Heat cycles and heavy slipping eventually glaze the frictions and warp the steels. This kit includes heavy-duty springs to prevent fade under race conditions. It is a direct OEM cross-reference for a precise fit. Always soak the friction discs in clean oil before assembly to prevent burning on the first start.
