This dual-stage foam element is the primary line of defence for your engine. It sits in the airbox, filtering out debris that would otherwise cause premature wear to your piston and bore. The bonded layers use coarse outer foam to stop large particles and fine inner foam for dust. Service intervals depend on track conditions, but you should swap for a fresh unit whenever the surface is visibly loaded. This part follows OEM dimensions for a precise fit. Apply a thin layer of rim grease to the base to ensure a vacuum-tight seal against the intake boot.
