The EC 400 FSE makes its torque low and wide, so it leans hard on the bottom end — heavy on clutch baskets, chains and rear sprockets when you lug it through tight woods. Carb jetting, fork seals and linkage bearings wear on a schedule. Plastics scuff, levers snap, head bearings notch. Stock these and you keep riding.
