This roller sits on the frame to manage chain slack and prevent the drive chain from wearing into the swingarm or frame rails. It is a critical wear item that should be inspected during every chain service. The internal bearings allow the roller to spin freely under load. Replace it when the outer surface shows deep grooves or the bearings feel notched. This part matches several OEM cross-references for a precise fit. Use a drop of thread lock on the mounting bolt to prevent it vibrating loose during a race.
