What it is
The Moose Offroad OFFROAD CLUTCH FRICTION PLATES, clutch. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
These friction plates are the primary wear item in your clutch assembly. They sit between the steel plates and provide the grip needed to transfer power to the gearbox. Replace these when you experience slipping under hard acceleration or if the plate thickness falls below the service limit. They are a direct replacement for OEM parts. Always soak new frictions in fresh engine oil for at least thirty minutes before installation. This prevents burning the material on the first ride. Check your steel plates for warping while the clutch is apart.
