What it is
The WISECO CIRCLIP 16MM, top end. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
These circlips secure the gudgeon pin within your piston. They are strictly single-use components for any top-end rebuild. Reusing an old clip risks catastrophic engine failure if it loses tension and escapes its groove. These are manufactured to precise tolerances for a secure fit in the piston boss. When installing, position the opening away from the access notch to prevent rotation. Always block your crankcase with a clean rag before fitting to avoid dropping a clip into the bottom end. Check your pin diameter to ensure correct sizing for your specific piston.
