What it is

The FMF POWERCORE 4 SLIP-ON MUFFLER ALUMINUM YAMAHA, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This aluminium slip-on muffler replaces the stock unit on your Yamaha to improve throttle response and reduce weight. It sits at the end of the exhaust circuit and mounts to the subframe. The internal core is designed to broaden the powerband of your 4-stroke engine. Fitment is specific to Yamaha models and integrates with the OEM header. Periodic repacking is necessary to keep the exhaust performing at its peak. Ensure the mounting bolts are torqued to spec to prevent loosening from vibration. This muffler provides a sharper exhaust note and better power delivery for off-road use.
