The one-piece forged design eliminates the friction and heat issues common with OEM titanium units. They sit within the cylinder head and manage the gas flow into the combustion chamber. You should replace these when your valve clearances start to tighten rapidly or if the face shows signs of cupping. Ensure you check your valve spring tension as these are heavier than stock titanium parts. They offer a direct fitment for your specific cylinder head.
