This rear parking brake cable is a direct fit for bikes using OEM 5FU-26341-00-00. It runs from the handlebar lever down to the rear brake assembly. Constant exposure to mud and pressure washing eventually strips the internal lubricant, leading to a stiff or seized action. Replacing a frayed cable prevents unexpected failure when you need to secure the bike. Ensure the cable housing is seated correctly in the adjusters.
