This cable is a direct replacement for OEM 22870-HN1-000, connecting your clutch perch to the release mechanism. It is a vital component for gear selection and power control. Environmental exposure and heavy use cause the cable to stretch and the internal lining to fail. If the lever pull feels heavy or gritty, the inner wire is likely dragging. Route the cable through the frame carefully to avoid contact with the exhaust or moving parts.
