What it is

The Moose Offroad INTAKE MANIFOLD YAMAHA, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This rubber manifold connects the carburettor to the cylinder intake. Over time, heat and vibration cause the OEM rubber to crack or delaminate. Air leaks here lead to lean running conditions and erratic idling. This replacement matches the original Yamaha geometry for a precise seal. Check your hose clamps for tension during installation. Lubricate the inner lip slightly to help the carb slide into position. It is a critical service item for older bikes to prevent engine damage from unfiltered air or lean spikes.
