What it is

The Moose Offroad SKID PLATE, plastics & bodywork. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This skid plate shields the lower end of your bike from direct hits. It covers the frame rails and the underside of the engine cases. For trail and enduro use, it prevents debris from puncturing the cases or damaging the water pump. The mounting system is designed to stay secure through heavy vibrations and impacts. It is a model-specific part that follows the contour of the frame for maximum clearance. Regularly remove the plate to clear out packed mud and inspect the frame for damage.
