What it is
The Moose Offroad STEERING STEM BEARING KIT, suspension. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Tapered roller steering stem bearing kit from Moose. Fits a properly silly spread of bikes across Beta, Gas Gas, Husaberg, Husqvarna and KTM, from the 701 Enduro and 701 Supermoto right up to the big 1190 and 640 Adventure tanks. If it runs an Austrian-style triple clamp setup, this kit is almost certainly the answer. Replace the bearings when the front end feels heavy on tip-in or you can hear a clunk under braking. Pack the races with quality waterproof grease before you tap them home, torque the stem nut to the workshop manual figure, then re-check after the first ride. Job done, front end back to how the factory meant it.
