What it is
The MOTION PRO RIM STRIP TAPE 18" & 19", motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
This rim strip protects your inner tube from spoke nipples and sharp edges inside the wheel rim. It fits standard 18-inch and 19-inch rear wheels. Over time, heat and moisture cause rubber strips to perish or stretch. A failed strip leads to punctures from the inside out. Replace this component every time you change your tyre or rebuild your wheel. Ensure the rim bed is clean and the valve hole is aligned perfectly before seating the tyre. It provides a critical barrier for high-pressure tube setups on your bike.
