What it is

The POLISPORT SKDPLATE W/LINKAGE KT HVA, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Fortress skid plate with a built-in linkage guard for the 250/300 KTM EXC/SX and Husqvarna TC/TE four-stroke and two-stroke frames. Up front it cases the engine and lower rails; at the rear it cradles the shock clevis and link arms that hang up on logs and rocks. Keep those bearings out of the firing line and you skip the expensive rebuild. High-impact plastic, so it skates over obstacles and keeps the noise down against a metal plate. Shaped to this frame's geometry. Clear the mud out of the linkage cradle after every ride.
