What it is

The SCAR LOWER FORK WRAPS CARBON, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Adhesive carbon-look wraps that sit on the outer lower legs, between the axle lug and the dust seal. Job is simple: take the stone chips and roost so your fork casting doesn't. Cheaper than refinishing a gouged lower, and far cheaper than a new one. SCAR cut these to suit the common WP, KYB, Showa and Marzocchi USD lowers found across the modern MX and enduro paddock, from CRF and YZ-F to EXC, FC and Beta RR. Degrease the lower with brake cleaner, dry it, and roll the wrap on from one edge to chase out air.
