This seal is designed for the right-side engine cover, sitting between the clutch assembly and the outer casing. It prevents oil from escaping the gearbox, which is critical for lubrication. Replace this part during any clutch maintenance or if you notice oil weeping from the casing seam. It corresponds to OEM cross-reference 110091867. Clean the mating surfaces thoroughly to ensure a leak-free fit. Avoid using excessive sealant which can block oil passages. Tighten all bolts to the correct workshop manual torque settings in a star pattern to ensure the cover is pulled down evenly.
