This interface sits on the right side of the lower end. It provides a leak-proof barrier for the clutch housing. Replace this whenever you remove the cover to inspect the basket or plates. It matches OEM cross-reference 110610178 for a direct fit. Clean the crankcase surface thoroughly to ensure a proper bond. Avoid using liquid sealant unless specified by the workshop manual. Tighten all bolts in a cross pattern to distribute pressure evenly. This is a standard requirement for maintaining oil levels and engine cleanliness.
