The valve cover gasket is a standard service item for your Honda. It sits at the top of the cylinder head, sealing the cam chamber. Heat and vibration eventually cause the material to perish, leading to oil misting around the top end. Swap this out whenever you perform a valve shim adjustment. Check that the spark plug hole seal is also correctly positioned during installation. This gasket provides a precise fit based on original factory dimensions. It ensures your top end remains dry and protected from external debris during MX motos.
