What it is

The ATHENA VALVE COVER GASKET, gaskets & seals. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This seal is located at the top of the cylinder head. It is a direct replacement for OEM part 12328371000. You will need this whenever the valve cover is removed for shimming or cam inspections. Heat cycles eventually cause the original rubber to flatten and leak. This replacement ensures a tight seal to keep oil inside the top end and dirt out. Clean the mating surfaces with a mild solvent before fitting to ensure the best possible bond. It is a critical part of your regular maintenance schedule for keeping the engine clean.
