What it is
The BARNETT CLUTCH FRICTION PLATE KEVLAR EACH, clutch. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
These Kevlar friction plates are engineered for riders who demand maximum durability from their transmission. They sit in the clutch assembly and provide the necessary friction to engage the drive. Kevlar is highly resistant to the high temperatures generated during hard enduro or deep sand riding. If you notice your oil turning black quickly or the clutch fading during a race, an upgrade to Kevlar is recommended. These are sold individually for custom pack configurations or full replacements. Proper oil saturation prior to installation is mandatory to ensure a long service life and smooth engagement.
