What it is

The HOT RODS CONNECTING ROD BEARING, bottom end. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This bearing shell sits in the big-end of the connecting rod. It manages the rotational load on the crank pin. Heat and friction eventually wear the bearing surfaces. This leads to vertical play in the rod and bottom-end noise. Check your workshop manual for the exact bore and stroke tolerances. It replaces OEM part 92028-1962. This is a critical replacement part during any bottom-end service. Clean all oil galleries before fitting to prevent premature wear on your rebuild.
