This main bearing supports the crankshaft within the engine cases. It handles the primary rotational loads of your bottom end. Bearings require replacement when you detect play at the flywheel or during a scheduled full engine strip. Worn mains lead to air leaks and vibration that can ruin your crank webs. This part meets OEM specifications for fitment and load rating. Pressing these into a cold case requires care. Heat the cases and freeze the bearing for a smooth seat. Always check for smooth rotation once the cases are torqued back together.
