This oversize bearing shell sits in the big-end of the connecting rod. It manages the rotational load on the crank pin. Heat and friction eventually wear the bearing surfaces. This leads to vertical play in the rod and bottom-end noise. This specific oversize version is required when the crank journal requires specific clearances. Check your workshop manual for the exact bore and stroke tolerances. It replaces OEM part 92028-1961. Clean all oil galleries before fitting to prevent premature wear on your rebuild.
