High-compression engines or big-bore kits often struggle with starting torque. This valve vents initial cylinder pressure to allow the piston to pass top dead centre more easily. It installs directly into the cylinder head. This reduces the load on your starter motor or your leg when kicking the bike over. It is a technical solution for modified four-strokes that suffer from kick-back or slow cranking speeds. Ensure the seat is clean and the valve operates freely to maintain a proper seal during the power stroke.
