This intake valve guide is designed with a 0.010 inch oversize outer diameter for the KX250F. It is used when the cylinder head guide bore has become enlarged or damaged. It sits in the top-end to keep the intake valve aligned. Worn guides lead to poor sealing and oil bypass. This part allows you to salvage a head that no longer holds a standard guide. Professional installation is required to press and ream the guide to the correct stem clearance. It restores factory-level precision to your valvetrain.
