This rear wheel bearing kit is a direct replacement for your worn factory internals. The rear hub takes the brunt of the engine's power and trail impacts. Over time, the seals fail and allow grit to grind down the races. This causes drag and can eventually damage the hub itself. Replace these as part of your seasonal maintenance to avoid being stranded on the trail. Clean the axle and internal spacer thoroughly to ensure the new bearings spin freely. Use a heat gun on the hub to make removal and installation easier.
